Jacqueline Ann Lichtscheidl (Jackie) passed away peacefully at her home on Christmas day. Jackie was born in South Dakota on June 9, 1942 to Virgil and Gertrude Munion. She was the middle child of three and the only daughter. She worked in various occupations throughout her life but her greatest career was as a “Mom”. She was active in 4H, a founding board member of the Sutherlin Stampede, a member of the the Calapooia Women’s Club, and several bowling teams. One of her last worries was that the bills for the bowling team need to be paid. Jackie was an excellent seamtress and many flags that she has made can be found through out the county. She was affectionately known by many as “Yacky Jackie” because of her incessant talking, but her greatest title was “Mom” to many of her friends. She was so proud of that distinction. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don and husband Joseph. She is survived by daughters, Kathy (Taylor), son Billie Boyd Boggs, daughter, Michele and her husband Cliff Fugate, her son Mike and spouse Joyce Lichtscheidl, stepson Tom Lichtscheidl and spouse Sherry, her brother Vern Munion and his spouse Patty Brennwald and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
