Keith passed away September 2, 2015, in Eugene, OR, following a sudden illness. Keith was born August 12, 1965, in Roseburg, OR, to Doyle Wayne and Janice Gadway Gardner.
Keith was preceded in death by his father in 2015. He is survived by his partner Thom Bair; his mother Janice; brother, Kurt and wife Ivanna; sister, Kimberly and Tim Sewell; nephew, Kristopher Browning; nieces, Kirsten Browning, Andie Sewell, Yeva Polyakova. Keith also had four great-nephews, and one great-niece.
Keith worked with his parents at Anderson Place Market until he graduated from Roseburg High School. After spending a year in Portugal, as an AFS foreign exchange student, Keith moved to Eugene, where he graduated from University of Oregon with a BA in Linguistics. He spoke fluent Portuguese, Spanish, and French, and loved Portuguese and Brazilian culture and cuisine. For the last 21 years Keith used his talents for language and computers working in data security for large companies around the world. However, his real passion was his home, where he spent his time growing food, playing with kittens and chickens, and spending time with family and friends. He also loved camping and being outdoors, especially in the North Umpqua.
Arrangements were handled by Pearson’s Funeral Home in Roseburg, OR, and memorial services will be held at a later date.
