Lloyd was born on June 19th, 1936, to James Sr. and Edna Jones in Bandon, Oregon, one of ten children. He met and married his love Vivian (Corky) in Myrtle Creek, and they married July 9th, 1955. They had seven children and spent the next 61 years together until his death on Thursday, February 9th, 2017.
Lloyd was a long time logger who spent most of his life in the woods; he had the love of the outdoors enjoying Christmas trees, gardening, flowers and fruit trees. Lloyd and Vivian had many Christmas tree lots in the Roseburg area and settled in front of Kmart in Roseburg for approximately eight years. Many will remember him as" Jonesy” from the tree lots over the years. They also ran Jones's Fruit Stand outside Yoncalla, for about five years. He enjoyed making people smile and laugh. He had a song to sing or a story to tell anyone who would listen and many will have fond memories of his Coos River or Hobbit stories and the candy he carried in his pocket.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Vivian Jones of Yoncalla; their six children, daughter, Sandra Jones of Roseburg, son and daughter-in-law, David and Toni Jones of Green, son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd Jr. and Denise Jones of Plankinton, SD, son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Julie Jones of Canby, daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Gary Allen of Yoncalla, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Erran Dulaney of Canyonville; 26 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
